We are the original and closest outfitter to the Barron Canyon and Petawawa River. We first opened our doors in 1983 when this side of the park was a little known access point used mainly by local logging companies. As we began to offer more services the popularity of this area of Algonquin grew in turn. Now tourism is helping balance the needs of the local economy with nature.

We offer over 125 Canoes & Kayaks for rent, Camping Equipment, Deliveries & pick-ups, Car shuttle services, Trip planning assistance, Equipment storage and Used canoes for sale. Last minute items, Camping gear & food, Maps of the area, Ice, Local dry firewood, and Gas/diesel are always available at our store.

Also check out Our historic Bed & Breakfast. It is a great spot to meet your friends & stay overnight before you set out on your trip.

After a few days of camping you can freshen up here with a hot shower, a homemade hamburger & milkshake all before driving home.
